Ground Budget
Know what’s safe to spend today, not just your bank balance.
Ground is a paycheck budgeting app for Android and web. See what is safe to spend today after bills, goals, shared expenses, and payday.
Hey Product Hunt, I’m Nick, the founder of Ground Budget.
I built Ground because checking an account balance never answered the question I actually had: “How much of this money can I safely spend today?”
Ground accounts for upcoming bills, goals, and the time until your next payday, then gives you one clear Safe to Spend number. It also includes bill tracking, debt payoff tools, savings goals, a Parking Lot for delaying impulse purchases, and Ask Ground for help understanding your numbers.
Ground works on Android and in any web browser. Bank sync is optional, and people can continue using the free manual version after the 14-day premium trial. No credit card is required to start.
This is still an early product, and I’m building it for people who have felt overwhelmed or discouraged by traditional budgeting apps.
I’d especially appreciate feedback on the first-time experience: does Ground’s approach make sense quickly, and what would help you trust your Safe to Spend number?
