GreySpace 3.0
Send files phone to PC with a hand gesture, no internet
GreySpace 3.0 is a rebuild, not a patch. New: close your fist over your phone, open your hand at your computer's webcam, and the photo lands (iPhone or Android to Windows or Mac, and phone to phone). A redesigned app on every platform, files that arrive one by one and are each verified, a clipboard shared between your devices. And Android is now on Google Play. Still no internet, no cloud, free to receive.
Why is moving a video from your phone to your PC still harder than sending it to someone on the other side of the planet?
That's the question behind GreySpace. With 3.0 I went a bit far: close your fist over your phone, open your hand in front of your webcam, and the photo lands on your computer.
Two honest questions:
1. Gimmick, or would you actually use it?
2. How do you get files off your phone today? Cable, cloud, emailing yourself? I want the worst hacks.
I'm here all day. Be brutal.
