Graph Paper PDF
Free graph paper that prints at exactly the right size
Make printable graph paper in seconds: any square size in inches or mm, dot grid, isometric, polar, coordinate planes, lined and hex paper. Download vector PDF, PNG or SVG for Letter or A4. Free, no sign-up, runs in your browser.
I made Graph Paper PDF because I needed 1/4 inch graph paper for a floor plan and every free printable I found came out at about 0.24 inch once printed. They were images on a full-bleed page, so the print dialog shrank them.
So the grid here is calculated in PDF points, fitted as whole squares inside a margin, and written as vector lines. Four squares really measure one inch, and 5 mm squares measure 5 mm.
What you can make:
• Square grids in any size (1/4", 1/8", 1 cm, 5 mm, 2 mm, 1 mm…), with optional numbered axes
• Dot grid and isometric dots for bullet journals and 3D sketches
• Polar paper in degrees or radians, up to 6 per page
• Coordinate planes: four quadrants or first quadrant, 1–6 per page
• Lined paper, including handwriting paper with a dashed midline
• Hexagon paper for game maps
Everything is generated in the browser—nothing is uploaded—and you can export PDF (up to 100 pages), PNG or SVG.
I'd love to hear which paper you'd use, and what grid it doesn't do yet.
