Grablo Spot

Free AI NVR that finds any person or vehicle in seconds

Grablo Spot is free AI NVR software for the cameras you already have. It records straight to your own machine and sorts every person and vehicle it sees into cards. Find anyone by face, appearance, plain text ("a person in a yellow shirt"), or a partial license plate, then follow them across every camera. Works with IP cameras, NVRs (RTSP/ONVIF), and USB webcams on Windows, macOS, Linux, and Raspberry Pi. Video is stored only on your device. No credit card, no camera limit, every feature free.

Hi Product Hunt 👋 I'm the developer of Grablo Spot. If you've ever had to find something in CCTV footage, you know the drill: scrubbing through hours of video at 8x speed, hoping you don't blink at the wrong moment. I built Spot so that takes seconds instead. What it does - Records 24/7 or only while a person or vehicle is detected, set per camera, kept for 7 to 180 days - Sorts everyone and every vehicle it sees into cards automatically - Follows a card across every camera, in time order - Searches by face, appearance, plain text ("a person in a yellow shirt"), or license plate, even if you only remember part of it - Alerts your phone when a registered or unknown face, or a specific vehicle, shows up Works with what you have IP cameras, existing NVRs (RTSP/ONVIF), and USB webcams. ONVIF cameras on your network are found automatically. It runs on Windows, macOS, Linux, and Raspberry Pi and records straight to that machine, so no separate NVR or server is needed. As a rough guide, an Intel N100 mini PC handles 1–2 cameras and a 12th-gen Core i5 about 6. Your footage stays home Video and AI analysis are stored only on your machine and never uploaded to the cloud. You can still watch from your phone or browser without port forwarding or a static IP, encrypted in transit. Pricing, honestly Every feature is free, with no credit card and no camera limit. Remote viewing connects directly to your machine, and that's free and unlimited. Only when a direct connection is blocked (some office Wi-Fi or mobile networks) does traffic go through our relay server, and relay usage is the only thing plans differ on: Free 1 GB/month, Pro $6.99/month for 30 GB, Business $14.99/month for 100 GB. I'd love your feedback, especially on camera models that don't connect cleanly and what you'd want search to do next. I'll be here all day answering questions.
