GoPort

Share your localhost with anyone using a public HTTPS URL

GoPort makes it easy to share your local apps, APIs, and webhook endpoints with anyone through a public HTTPS URL. Start a tunnel with a simple CLI command, inspect incoming HTTP requests, and test your projects without deploying them first. GoPort is open-source and self-hostable, giving developers more control over how they expose their local services. It's built in Go and designed to make localhost sharing simple.

Hey everyone! 👋

I've been working on GoPort for a while, and I'm finally sharing it here.

I built it because I wanted a simpler way to share things running on localhost without deploying them somewhere just for testing.

GoPort lets you expose your local apps through a public HTTPS URL.

You can use it to:

  • Test webhooks and APIs

  • Share local projects with others

  • Inspect incoming HTTP requests while debugging

It's written in Go, open-source, and self-hostable.

There's still a lot I want to improve, so I'd love to hear what you think, especially if you get a chance to try it.
