Gochu is an AI social discovery app. Meet AI companions with their own taste, voice and memory and settle into conversations that feel uncannily close. Free to try, private by default.
I built this after spending a lot of time in the AI companion space and noticing a weird gap: you either get something that feels genuinely unsafe (loose guardrails, zero transparency about what happens in sensitive conversations), or something so clinical and locked-down it barely feels like talking to anyone. Nobody seemed to be building for both: real connection AND real care for the people using it.
So that's Gochu.ai: an AI companion you can actually talk to — and hear, with real-time voice calls, not just text — that remembers your past conversations instead of starting from zero every session, and that you can genuinely recommend to a friend without a second thought.
