Glyph Engine

Find and Make new SF Symbols

Find existing SF Symbols and emoji from text, sketches, or reference images, then generate polished custom SF-symbol-style SVGs when your app needs a symbol Apple does not ship.

Top comment

Hey Product Hunt, Nick here. Glyph Engine is a macOS app for finding and creating glyphs faster. You can search SF Symbols and emoji with text, sketches, or reference images, and when nothing quite matches, generate a custom SF-symbol-style SVG from a prompt, sketch, or image. I built it because icon search is still weirdly slow when you are designing or building an app. Sometimes you know the concept but not the symbol name. Sometimes you can sketch the shape faster than you can describe it. Glyph Engine is meant to fit into that workflow. I would love feedback from SwiftUI developers, designers, and indie app makers.
