Glidey
Write forward. Glidey fixes what’s behind you.
A flow-first writing workspace that corrects finished sentences in front of you, helps unfinished ones forward, and keeps the context of everything you have written.
Top comment
I built Glidey because I hate stopping to fix my writing. I make spelling mistakes constantly, miss words, type too quickly, and usually notice the mistake three sentences later. What annoyed me even more was that the tools meant to help still made me stop writing. With Grammarly, I’d see a suggestion, move my cursor back, click it, accept it, then try to remember what I was saying. In other editors, I’d have to select the text, open a menu, ask AI to fix it, and then keep going. I didn’t want a better editing workflow. I wanted to get rid of the editing workflow. So Glidey works differently. You write the sentence. You finish the thought. Then Glidey quietly fixes what you’ve already written in front of you, without making you leave where you are. It can also help unfinished sentences forward while keeping the context of what you’ve written, but the idea underneath the whole product is simple: Writing should feel like writing, not repeatedly stopping to operate writing software. Glidey is still early, and I’d genuinely love to hear what feels great, what feels annoying, and what you think we should build next.
