Your dental health in one place - all private by design.
Every dental app tracks brushing. None track your whole oral hygiene. Gleamit gives you an anatomical map of all 32 teeth - tap one to log a filling, crown, implant or problem, with notes and full history. Plus brushing and floss streaks, appointments, toothbrush life, smile photos and dentist documents. All data stays on your device. No backend, no analytics, private by design.
I built Gleamit because I kept walking out of the dentist's office having already forgotten what he had told me. My dental history existed in three places: a receipt somewhere, a vague memory, and my dentist's software that I can't see.
Every app I tried was a brushing timer with a streak counter. Useful for about a week, and none of them tracked the thing I actually wanted a record of - the teeth.
So Gleamit starts from the tooth map: all 32, tap one to log a filling, crown, implant or problem, with notes and a history you can scroll back through. Around that sits the boring-but-useful stuff: brushing and floss streaks, dentist appointments with their notes, a date of your last cleaning, when you last changed your manual brush or electric brush head, smile photos over time, a vault for dentist PDFs and X-rays.
Two decisions that make this app really cool imo:
1. No account, no backend, no analytics. Your dental history is on your phone and nowhere else. Optional backup goes to your own Google Drive or iCloud - I never see it. This also means the app costs me nothing to run, which is why it can be a one-time unlock instead of yet another subscription. 2. It's a mirror, never a medical coach. Gleamit will never tell you your teeth are unhealthy, never diagnose, never nag. It shows you your own data and stops. Pro turns that into a PDF you can hand to your dentist - they do the interpreting, not my app.
It's a deliberately small solo project, not a startup, and I'd rather keep it sharp than make it big :)
