I'm David, security engineer by day, HotStart Labs by night. Glassbox is the tool I wanted for myself: a clear look at what my own browser gives away to every site I load, without having to trust yet another privacy service with the data.
What it does: opens up the signals that make up your browser fingerprint (canvas, WebGL, fonts, timezone, hardware, WebRTC) and shows how unique the combination is and where the leaks are. Everything runs client-side. No account, no upload, no backend to breach. The code is open, so you can verify that yourself.
Why I built it: most fingerprinting checkers are run by companies whose business is fingerprinting. I wanted one with no incentive to keep the results.
