GitFut
Turn your GitHub profile into a FIFA Ultimate Team card
Rate any GitHub profile out of 99 as a FIFA-Ultimate-Team-style player card, scored from real commits, stars and contributions. Get scouted and share your card.
I built GitFut in about a week, with the World Cup on. It turns your GitHub profile into a FIFA Ultimate Team card, scored /99 from your actual stats. You can just swap `github.com` → `gitfut.com` on any profile URL and you get your FUT card.
I posted it on Reddit expecting a few upvotes. Then it took off, on Reddit, on X, even on Instagram where people were posting their cards on their stories. The first week:
- 🥇 #1 on three subreddits, 2.1k+ upvotes combined
- 👀 100k+ visitors, 450k+ cards generated
- ⭐ 1.8k+ stars on GitHub
- 🔥 peak of 300+ people on the site at once
Since then I shipped one of the most requested feature: Duels. Put your GitHub against a friend's, six stats, one winner.
It's free and open source. Scout yourself and drop your card in the comments, let's see what PH pulls.

Who hunted GitFut?
GitFut was hunted by Younes Ferradji . A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
