I am Eugen, the solo developer behind GhostBro.
I started building this after a few things: a burnout, then finding a meaning, live work that moves too fast to capture properly, and AI tools that keep turning into another monthly bill. I wanted a companion I could keep open during real work, not another tab that steals attention.
GhostBro can:
- Analyze what is on your screen when you need context
- Transcribe meetings with local Whisper, OpenAI, or Deepgram(will add more in the future)
- Summarize recent transcript sections into next steps or clean notes
- Translate, extract objections, create follow-ups, or run your own prompt actions(its customizable)
- Stay keyboard-friendly once you know your workflow
- Let you choose local models or your own provider accounts
The product is deliberately positioned as assistance, not replacement. It helps you stay organized, remember details, and react with more confidence. It should not be used to misrepresent your work or deceive people on a call.
GhostBro is paid once and kept forever. There is no provider markup: if you use external AI, you pay that provider directly. If you want privacy or zero marginal cost, use local options.
There is also an ownership experiment attached. When GhostBro reaches 200,000 paid users, one paid participant will receive the project: code, domain, infrastructure, and a guided handover. It sounds unusual because it is. I wanted the product story to match the pricing idea: owning beats renting.
I would genuinely appreciate feedback on three things:
- Is the "AI call companion" positioning clear?
- Which use case feels strongest: meetings, presentations, interviews, or screen/context analysis?
- What would you need to trust a tool like this in your own workflow?
