Getzy
Cheaper flights by adding a stopover city
Getzy compares the single ticket with self-transfer routes: two or more separate tickets through a stopover city where flights are cheaper. Real prices, the true saving, and honest warnings (connection risk, visas, airport changes). Free, no account.

Hi Product Hunt 👋 I built Getzy because the cheapest flight is often not the most direct one. Ticket prices don't depend on distance, so flying Paris → Istanbul and Istanbul → Tokyo on two tickets can cost less than the direct ticket. Example we found on 1 November 2026: Nice → Montréal via Lisbon for €394, versus €688 for the single ticket. What Getzy does: • compares the single ticket with thousands of self-transfer combinations • shows the cheapest day and month for each route • warns you honestly: separate tickets mean the second airline won't wait, so it flags visas at the stopover, overnight stays and airport changes • free tools: a transit visa checker for 199 passports, and airport-change times (Heathrow ↔ Gatwick, Orly ↔ Roissy…) It's free, no account, and available in English, French, Spanish and German. You book directly with the airline or agency. I'd love your feedback, especially on routes where you think it should find something cheaper.
