I just launched a new freelance platform different from the ones out there.
With my experience as a freelancer software developer, the problems of this kind of work and the pain of not having a decent platform became more evident, like distrust in both sides and the inexperience of the freelancer in understanding project requirements.
My best experience working as a freelancer was when I had a project manager in between. So, I thought would be a good idea to introduce an intermediary between the client and the freelancer: the project manager. The platform also has a review system based on recommendations and relevant data about past projects.
If you're an experienced professional (like a senior dev), you can act as the PM and organize the tasks so the freelancer can execute them. You know the big picture and the requirements to succeed with the project, so why not?
