Most AI styling apps either give you vague fashion tips or require you to hand over your photos to their servers indefinitely. Drape does neither. ARIA analyzes your photo entirely in memory — it's never written to disk or stored — and gives you 3 complete, shoppable outfits with real brands, prices, and direct links, tailored to your body type, skin tone, and where you live. The idea started from a dumb personal problem: I'd stand in front of my closet before literally any event — wedding, first date, work thing — and have no idea what actually worked for my body type, skin tone, and the occasion. Pinterest boards and generic "10 outfit ideas" articles never felt like they were talking to me.
So I built ARIA (AI Recommendation & Image Analyst) — you upload one photo, tell it the occasion, and it gives you 3 complete outfits: real brands, real prices, direct links to buy. Not "try earth tones" — actual pieces you could add to cart today.
A few things I cared about more than most AI apps seem to:
1. Your photo is never stored. Not "encrypted and stored," not "used to improve our model" — actually never touches a disk. It's processed in server RAM for the few seconds analysis takes, then the buffer is nulled and it's gone. No account needed to try it either — guest mode gets you the full analysis with zero signup.
2. It knows where you shop. Recommendations shift based on your region — US, UK/Europe, India, Australia — instead of assuming everyone shops the same handful of American retailers.
3. It reads your actual coloring and body type from the photo and explains why each piece works, not just what to buy.
This has been a solo build — front to back, including wrestling with getting the privacy architecture right (RAM-only processing is more finicky to get right than it sounds!). Would genuinely love your feedback, especially:
