Gestabiz

Business software built for LATAM service businesses

Gestabiz is the all-in-one business platform for Latin American service businesses. Manage appointments, staff, clients, WhatsApp reminders, accounting, and online booking—all in Spanish, priced in local currency.

I'm Jose Luis, a software engineer from Colombia. I built Gestabiz at night for 10 months.

The problem I was trying to solve is simple: every barbershop, salon, and small clinic in Colombia manages their appointments through WhatsApp. The owner takes a screenshot of a conversation, opens Google Sheets, and writes it down manually. Then they forget to send a reminder. The client doesn't show up. They lose the revenue from that slot.

I know this because I asked about 40 small business owners how they managed their bookings before I wrote a single line of code. The answer was always the same: "WhatsApp, a notebook, or nothing."

The existing tools don't work for this market. AgendaPro costs $40 USD/month — that's about $160,000 Colombian pesos, which is more than some of these businesses make in a day. Fresha charges a 20% commission on every payment processed through the platform. Calendly doesn't have the scope these businesses need: they need to manage multiple employees, multiple locations, client history, permissions per staff role, and basic accounting.

What Gestabiz does:

  • Clients book online through a public business profile (indexed by Google)

  • Automatic WhatsApp and email reminders go out before each appointment — this alone reduces no-shows by around 30% based on what our early users report

  • The owner can manage multiple locations and employees from one dashboard

  • Each staff member has specific permissions (a receptionist can see the calendar but can't change prices)

  • Basic accounting is included: income, expenses, taxes configured for Colombia

  • The free plan is functional, not crippled. Paid plan starts at $89.900 COP/month (~$17 USD)

Who it's for:

Hair salons, barbershops, beauty spas, physical therapy clinics, psychology practices, gyms, coworking spaces, tattoo studios — any service business in Colombia or LATAM with at least one employee and a recurring client base.

What makes it different:

Everything is in Spanish. The price is in Colombian pesos. It works for businesses that don't have an international credit card. Support is in Spanish. The onboarding doesn't assume you know what a "webhook" is.

The public business profiles at /negocio/[slug] are already indexed by Google, so businesses get some organic discovery without paying for ads.

I'm launching this because I'm leaving my job in November 2026 and betting fully on this. The product is in beta, it works, and I need real users who will tell me what's broken.

If you run a service business in LATAM, or know someone who does, I'd love to hear from you.
