Hey Product Hunt — I’m Tom, the maker of GeoSignal. I built it because I was tired of feeling simultaneously over-notified and under-informed. Most news products are very good at telling us that something has just happened. I found they were less helpful when I wanted to understand what had materially changed, how different events connected, why they mattered outside the immediate headline, and what decisions or deadlines I should watch next. GeoSignal is my attempt to create a calmer geopolitical operating picture rather than another endless news feed. Each publication brings together: - Material changes since the previous edition - Structured briefings with evidence, assessment, assumptions, and alternative readings - Persistent themes with timelines, actors, geography, and signals to watch - Consequential future decisions, negotiations, elections, and deadlines - Impact analysis across areas such as markets, energy, security, trade, diplomacy, and humanitarian pressure - Regional views, maps, source links, and a seven-day archive - Underreported developments or cross-theatre linkage when the evidence genuinely supports it Everything in the app is generated from the same versioned world edition, which keeps the briefings, themes, impacts, regions, and watchlist aligned. GeoSignal is free on iPhone and does not require an account. I would especially appreciate feedback on whether it helps you re-enter the news after missing a few days. I’m also interested in whether the distinction between evidence, judgement, and uncertainty feels clear enough. Thanks for taking a look. AppStore: https://apps.apple.com/gb/app/ge...
