I built a completely web-based, lightweight tool to solve this. No installation, works flawlessly on both desktop and mobile, and it's super fast.
🛠️ The Technical Journey
Getting the accuracy right was a process:
1. First attempt (OpenCV): I started with basic inpainting. It was fast but left terrible blurry marks on complex backgrounds or gradients.
2. Second attempt (Heavy AI - LaMa/SD): I moved to heavy inpainting models. The quality was perfect, but it took too long to process (sometimes 10+ seconds) and was too expensive to host.
3. The Sweet Spot (Custom Web AI): Finally, I optimized a custom, lightweight AI model specifically trained on Gemini's watermark pattern. It delivers the perfect quality of heavy AI but processes in just a few seconds directly via the browser.

I know uploading generated images can be a privacy concern. That's why the tool is designed to auto-delete your images immediately after processing. No logs, no training on user data.
