GB1 Mobile: Local Models
Run private AI on your phone with downloadable local models
Meet GB1 — the private AI from the UK. Now on mobile: choose between cloud models powered by 100% renewable energy, or switch to local models running fully on-device for complete privacy. Made by Locai Labs in London.
Hey everyone, James here, CEO & co-founder of Locai Labs, the team behind GB1.
When we launched GB1, we set out to build the AI we believe in: private, sustainable, and independent. Today we're taking the next step with GB1 Mobile: Local Models.
You can now run our Jupiter LLMs models directly on your phone, or in the cloud. Pick a local model and it runs fully on-device with no cloud, no connection, and no data leaving your phone. Or use our cloud models, running on UK GPUs powered by 100% renewable energy.
We believe the future of AI is one where people own their own intelligence, running AI on their own hardware, with complete data privacy, and with a much smaller footprint on the planet. Local models on your phone is the first step toward that future.
Lots more coming soon. Would love your thoughts, feedback, and questions, and if you like what we're building, an upvote means the world!
Cheers, James
