Hey Product Hunt! I'm Tron, the maker of GaugeReel. I ride and film a lot (mostly a DJI Osmo Action around New York), and I wanted my speed, heart rate and route on the footage. The existing tools were either abandoned (DashWare, Garmin VIRB Edit), Windows-only, or put a watermark on everything unless you paid. So GaugeReel is a desktop app for Mac and Windows that: - reads GoPro GPS straight from the MP4, or a FIT/GPX file from Garmin, Wahoo, COROS, Strava or Apple Watch for any other camera - lets you slide the data to line it up with the clip - exports a transparent gauge layer for DaVinci Resolve, Premiere, Final Cut or CapCut (or, on Basic, burns it straight into a finished MP4) The Free plan has no watermark, no account and no time limit. Everything runs locally, so your rides stay on your computer. I'd love to hear what you film and which gauges or cameras you want next!
