Gathin
Run the event, keep the community it created
Every event platform is built for the day of the event. The community that formed at it is on its own the morning after. Gathin is built for the morning after: members and segments, announcement email with delivery and open rates, and certificates and badges your members add to LinkedIn — each one pointing back at your community. Events, tickets and RSVPs are here too, with Iyzico checkout so ₺ and Turkish cards work. Free plan: unlimited events, tickets and co-organizers. Six languages.
Hey Product Hunt 👋
I've run community events in Istanbul for years, and the pattern was always the same. You spend six weeks on an event, 80 people show up, it's genuinely great — and then it's over. Two weeks later nobody remembers which community threw it. You did all that work to build a room, and the room emptied.
The tools are part of why. Every event platform is optimized for the day: the page, the RSVP, the checkout. The morning after, you have a CSV of email addresses and no way to do anything with them that isn't a fresh Mailchimp import.
So we built Gathin around the part that comes after.
Your members live in the community, not the event. You tag them into segments — first-timers, alumni, mentors, sponsors — and mail them from the same panel, with a header image, a button that can point at one of your own forms, and delivery and open rates when it lands.
Then credentials, which turned out to matter more than we expected. You design a certificate in a visual editor with a verification QR, issue it by hand or from a spreadsheet, and every one gets a unique code and a public page. Set your LinkedIn Company ID and your community shows up as the issuing organization when someone adds it to their profile. A member's CV quietly becomes a link back to you.
And the boring one that made this possible in Türkiye: Iyzico checkout, so ₺ and local cards actually work. Luma and Eventbrite still don't.
Free plan is the real product; unlimited events, tickets, co-organizers. We charge for scale, not for existing.
Next up is venues: a place like a campus or a co-working space gets its own page that aggregates events from every community hosting there. It's live for a small group while we work out moderation.
[We've been running it with X communities for Y months — the thing that surprised me most was Z.]
I'd really like to hear what falls apart for you between events. That's the part nobody builds for.

Who hunted Gathin?
Gathin was hunted by Furkan Ünsalan. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
