Hi Product Hunt! I’m Mary, and I’m not a programmer. I built Garage Guru from my kitchen table in Oklahoma with a lot of help from AI. I started this app because my daughter and I love going to estate sales, garage sales and such. We LOVE bargain hunting! But we also like holding garage sales. No matter which end you’re on, we had to look in local papers, drive around, and check Craigslist, Facebook and Nextdoor, not only to FIND all the sales, but also to post our own ads in all those same places. So Garage Guru became a reality. It’s a one-stop shop for Hunters (bargain hunters) and Gurus (sellers) anywhere in the U.S., with garage, yard, estate, church, moving, store-closing sales and more, all on a color-coded map you can search by zip code. 🔎 As a Hunter, you can see all the sales in your area, choose the ones you want, plan a route on the map, and even print the addresses to take along. One big round trip saves you gas money! Have a friend hold the phone while you drive, and when you cross into another zip code, it finds the sales there live. 🏷️ As a Guru, you can post your garage sale, estate sale and more. If you run a business like an auction house or estate sale company, you can post all your current and upcoming sales in one place, and 📣 advertise your business here too.
