GameBrain for WordPress
Game review scores, info cards & prices for WordPress
GameBrain adds four video game blocks to WordPress: a game info card, a review summary with GameBrain, critic and user scores plus what players like and dislike, a row of similar games, and a where-to-buy price list. The data comes from GameBrain's database of 800,000+ games. Blocks render on your server as HTML with schema.org markup, are cached on your site and use your theme's fonts and colors. You connect with one click and no API key. Free.

Hey Product Hunt 👋 I'm David, one of the people behind GameBrain, a video game database with 800,000+ games. Most game widgets on blogs are JavaScript embeds that load after the page and look like ads. We wanted the game data to be part of the post itself, so we built four WordPress blocks: Game Card: cover, GameBrain Score, release date, genres and platforms Review Summary: GameBrain, critic and user scores, plus what players like and their most common complaints Similar Games: a row of related titles for "what should I play next?" Where to Buy: store offers with prices (affiliate links are marked) Every block renders on your server as plain HTML with schema.org markup, so search engines can read it and game reviews can qualify for rich results. Game data is cached on your site and refreshed in the background, which means a page never has to wait on our API. Setup is one click. There's no API key to copy, and no data about your visitors is sent to us. The blocks use your theme's fonts and colors and work on dark themes. Shortcodes and a classic widget cover the Classic editor and page builders. The plugin and the data are free, and the "View on GameBrain" credit link is off by default. If you run a gaming site or know someone who does, I'd love to hear which block you'd add first and what's missing.
