Hey Product Hunt! 👋 I built Game DNA because I kept running into the same problem with game recommendation tools: they usually start by asking what genre you want to play, but that doesn't always explain why you actually love a game. Two games can share the same genre and still feel completely different. So I tried a different approach. With Game DNA, you simply pick 9 games you already love. The tool turns those choices into a profile across 10 gameplay traits such as exploration, progression, systems, combat, strategy, puzzle solving, survival, and social play. From there, it can suggest games that match the way you like to play rather than just matching genres. It's free, doesn't require an account, and your selections stay private. I'd especially love feedback on the DNA results: does the profile actually feel like you? And if it doesn't, I'd love to know which games you picked.
