Small teams and solo founders don't just write code. While Claude Code and Codex are implementing in parallel, I switch to marketing, design, or customer calls.
An hour later:
I've completely lost the implementation context.
And if I keep thinking about the implementation, none of my other work gets done.
Coding was never my bottleneck. Context switching was. So I built Galda, a context-keeping workspace for Claude Code and Codex.
I queue 10 tasks at once, and it takes them through implementation, tests, and opens review-ready PRs. I come back an hour later and just review. Each task gets a summary page that's actually readable at a glance, so the review doesn't take long either.
No extra API needed. It runs on the Claude Code / Codex subscription you already have, your skills work exactly as before, and it spaces out the scheduling so you're less likely to burn through the 5-hour or weekly limits.
The hardest design decision was where to draw the line on intervention. The more I tried to be clever on my side, decomposing tasks and reshaping instructions, the more I broke things Claude Code and Codex could otherwise do fine on their own. Every time I added intervention, a workflow that had been working ten minutes earlier stopped working. So I went the other way and decided not to touch the output at all. Galda doesn't rewrite your prompts and doesn't impose its own conventions. The decisions stay between you and Claude Code or Codex. What's configurable is Galda's own behavior, not theirs.
What it does:
Queues tasks and runs them.
Orders dependent tasks so a task starts only after its prerequisites finish.
Gives you a summary page so you can see what changed without rebuilding context from the Git log.
Keeps the PR, the local environment, and the rest of the review context in one place.
I don't have many users yet, so there are certainly workflows this handles badly. And if a lot of PRs land at once, reviewing them just becomes the next bottleneck, which I don't have a good answer for.
What I'd most like opinions on is whether "don't intervene" is the right call at this layer. If there's a place where you think an orchestrator should be smarter than the agent it's driving, I'd like to hear it. And if it doesn't fit your workflow, tell me what broke and I'll try to support it.
