FuseBox

Stop runaway AI agent costs with one line of Python

FuseBox is a Python circuit breaker for AI agent loops. Add one line of code — @wrap(max_time=300, max_cost=5.0) — and it stops runaway API costs, infinite loops, and bill shock. Five configurable limits (time, iterations, tokens, cost, daily budget), CLI tools, and full source code included. No cloud, no subscription. $29 one-time, you own it forever.

Hey PH! I built FuseBox because my agent got stuck in a recursive loop and burned through API credits overnight. The SDK? No hard ceiling. I found out when I checked usage the next morning. So I built the tool I wished existed: one line of Python that sets a hard stop on time, iterations, tokens, cost - and if it trips, you get a full state dump to debug what happened. No cloud dependency, no subscription, just a Python file you own. Full source code included under MIT because if you're trusting this with your agent budget, you should be able to inspect exactly what it does.
