Furio

Your architecture map, kept in your repos, checked like code

Each repo describes the architecture it owns in aarchitecture folder. Furio checks it on every pull request and merges all repos into one map you can query: who calls this service, who consumes this queue, what breaks if this database goes down. Open source, MIT.

Top comment

Hi Product Hunt, I am Andrea and I built Furio. As a product engineer, and later as an engineering manager, I kept running into the same problem: nobody had the whole architecture in their head. The diagrams were drawn by hand, outside the code, and went stale within weeks. Furio changes who maintains the map. Each repo describes the part it owns in a YAML file. The GitHub Action checks it on every pull request, and all repos are merged into one map you can browse and query. It is open source (MIT): a CLI, an Action and a static site, nothing to run. Furio Cloud hosts the map for you when you want it private. Try it: npx @getfurio/cli init Happy to answer anything about the manifest format or the map.

Who hunted Furio?

Furio was hunted by Andrea Pinti. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
