Hey Product Hunt 👋

I built FuelUp because every visibility option for a small company is either a $500 ad minimum or a directory nobody opens. So I made the dumbest possible version of an ad slot. There is a track, and there is a car driving on it. You can brand it with your company as long as you pay for the fuel.

How it works: $1 buys one minute of fuel. The car goes on the track wrapped in your branding, and you get a billboard slot that keeps rotating back into view over and over again. Buy more fuel and you climb the all time leaderboard, which stays up permanently. Type your website link or X handle, pay, done in under a minute. No account, no onboarding call, no logo upload or color specifications.

The idea started with the pay-to-rank leaderboards you have probably seen floating around. I love the format, but it has one structural problem: only the top few slots are actually visible. Everyone else pays for a line of text on page four that nobody scrolls to. FuelUp decouples visibility from rank. Your car drives and your billboard rotates back into view regardless of where you sit on the leaderboard. The leaderboard is the bragging rights layer, not the visibility layer.

Who hunted FuelUp?

FuelUp was hunted by Kevin. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
