Hi Product Hunt! 👋 I'm Gary, founder of FrostKey.
FrostKey actually started with a completely different question.
I wasn't trying to build legal software. I was researching AI adoption, governance, and oversight across industries when one topic kept appearing over and over again: **Shadow AI**.
Organizations were discovering employees were already using AI long before policies, oversight, or documentation had caught up.
That made me wonder...
**What does this look like inside a law firm?**
I spent weeks researching bar guidance, court decisions, malpractice concerns, insurer expectations, legal AI adoption, and governance best practices.
I found AI tools for lawyers.
I found policy templates.
I found enterprise governance platforms.
What I didn't find was a practical system built specifically for small and midsize law firms to continuously maintain the records needed to demonstrate responsible AI use.
So I built FrostKey.
The goal isn't just to create an AI policy.
It's to help firms stay ready as AI evolves by tracking policies, AI tool configurations, governance activities, monitoring updates, and audit-ready records in one continuously maintained system.
