Hi Product Hunt, I built freshers.dev because developer career advice often feels either too serious or too generic. I wanted to turn recruiters, equity, layoffs, hype, and burnout into a short daily game instead. Sign in with GitHub, get a developer character, make a series of questionable career decisions, and compare your ending on the daily and all-time leaderboards. I also shipped a VS Code extension because apparently career anxiety belongs beside the code. The game is free. I am launching it here as an experiment to find out whether people enjoy it enough to come back for another run. I would especially value feedback on three things: Does the GitHub personalization justify the sign-in? Would you play again tomorrow? Does the VS Code extension feel useful or just amusing?
