FreeWWW Color Palette Generator
Create accessible color palettes from theory or images
Create harmonious palettes using six color-theory rules, random generation, or colors extracted from an image. Lock individual colors, adjust saturation and lightness, preview designs and gradients, check contrast, and simulate color-vision differences. Save your palettes and export them as CSS, SCSS, Tailwind, JSON, or PNG—all free with no signup.
We built the FreeWWW Color Palette Generator because selecting attractive colors is only part of good design. A useful palette must also work consistently across interfaces, code, branding, and accessibility requirements.
The project started as a simple random color generator. We expanded it with complementary, triadic, analogous, split-complementary, tetradic, and monochrome harmony rules. We then added image-based color extraction, color locking, full-palette adjustments, design and gradient previews, contrast checks, and color-vision simulations.
To make palettes easier to use in real projects, we included CSS, SCSS, Tailwind, JSON, and PNG exports.
Our goal is to help designers, developers, and artists move from color inspiration to practical implementation faster. We would love to see the palettes you create!
