I made this as a free starter checklist for small ecommerce sellers who source physical products from Alibaba or China-based suppliers.
The common issue is that first-time sellers often compare suppliers by unit price, then later discover packaging, freight, duties, platform fees, defects, returns, or vague supplier answers.
This checklist is intentionally simple:
- hidden cost checklist
- supplier questions before samples
- common red flags
- next-step map for supplier vetting, RFQ comparison, and landed-cost planning
It is not supplier verification, customs advice, legal advice, or a sourcing service. It is a practical pre-order checklist.
