FormatHive
Format, validate, and convert developer data in your browser
A browser-first workspace with 150+ tools for JSON, XML, YAML, SQL, HTML, and more. Format, validate, minify, compare, and convert through one editor-first workflow. Core transformations run locally, and public tools require no account.
I built FormatHive because small developer tasks had become a surprisingly fragmented workflow.
Formatting JSON, validating XML, converting YAML, decoding JWTs, comparing text, and cleaning SQL often meant opening several unrelated websites with different editors and unclear data-handling boundaries.
FormatHive brings those workflows into one consistent workspace. The editor is visible immediately, common actions stay predictable, and each tool enables only the features relevant to its format.
The platform currently includes more than 150 focused utilities, ten interface languages, tool-specific samples, validation feedback, conversions, tree and preview modes, downloads, fullscreen editing, and responsive layouts.
Most transformations run directly in the browser. Features that need network access are explicit, and public tools do not require an account.
I would love feedback from developers about correctness, missing tools, difficult payloads, and places where the workflow could become faster or clearer.
