Food Roulette
"Random restaurant picker for couples & groups
Food Roulette is a free browser-based restaurant picker for people who waste too much time deciding where to eat. It helps couples, families, coworkers, and groups quickly discover restaurants nearby, spin through options, and make a decision without endless debate. Built for lunch breaks, dinner plans, date nights, family meals, and group hangouts — no app install needed.
Hey Product Hunt,
I built Food Roulette because choosing where to eat sounds simple, but in real life it can waste 20–30 minutes — especially with coworkers, couples, families, or groups.
The idea is simple: open the site, allow location, and let Food Roulette help you pick a restaurant nearby instead of scrolling endlessly through maps, delivery apps, and reviews.
I wanted it to feel fast, fun, and useful — not another heavy food app. It works directly in the browser with no install needed.
Best use cases:
office lunch decisions
date night
family dinner
group hangouts
travel or new areas
“I’m hungry but I don’t know what I want” moments
I’m still improving the experience, especially around better filtering, open-now accuracy, mobile UI, and smarter recommendations.
Would love your feedback on what would make this more useful for daily restaurant decisions.
