After working as an iOS dev for a couple of years I wanted to release one of my own projects. I initially built FocusNotch for myself because I was getting so frustrated getting distracted by YouTube and Twitter when I should have been working. I wanted an easy solution to blocking distracting websites and tracking my sessions where I wanted to get stuck into a few hours of deep work or study. FocusNotch lives in the notch of your MacBook so it can be easily accessed no matter what you're working on, transforming the notch into a simple tool to help you focus. With the click of a button you can start a focus session and block any website you find distracting, as well as having the timer countdown always visible on your screen from the notch the same as a Dynamic Island on your iPhone.
