Hey everyone, Sudhan here, the maker of Focusami.
The idea came from a personal problem. I would sit down to study or do deep work and within 20 minutes I would be on YouTube or Twitter. Solo work has no stakes. Nobody is watching, nothing is on the line.
Then I came across research on the Zajonc Effect, which basically proves that the mere presence of others increases your focus and performance. It is why coffee shops work. It is why you are more productive in a library than your bedroom.
Focusami is my attempt to bottle that. You join a room, set a micro goal before your session, and see real people working alongside you in real time. No voice, no pressure, just presence. And it genuinely changes how long you can stay locked in.
