Fluxychat
Realtime chat API on Cloudflare — hosted or self-host
Fluxychat is a multi-tenant realtime chat API built on Cloudflare Workers, Durable Objects, and D1. What’s different: - One Durable Object per room for edge WebSocket fan-out + ordered messaging - Agent tool calls stream on the same room WebSocket as chat messages - MIT self-host on your Cloudflare account or use the hosted beta - Next.js operator console with rooms, agents, and billing hooks - TypeScript SDK with React hooks, reconnect/backoff, and history pagination
Hey PH 👋 I'm Alessandro, solo builder behind Fluxychat.
I built this because every time I needed in-app chat for a SaaS project, the options were: pay Pusher/Stream prices, run a WS server, or fork a half-maintained library.
Fluxychat runs entirely on Cloudflare Workers + Durable Objects + D1 — one DO per room handles ordering and fan-out, D1 handles history. No persistent servers.
Two things I haven't seen elsewhere:
1. Agent tool_call / tool_result events stream on the same room WebSocket as chat messages, so you can debug agent runs like chat in the operator console
2. Full MIT monorepo — deploy on your own Cloudflare account, or use the hosted beta at fluxychat.com
Stack: apps/worker (Wrangler), apps/console (Next.js), packages/sdk (@fluxy-chat/sdk on npm), Stripe billing hooks.
Happy to go deep on DO architecture, D1 write patterns, or multi-tenant auth — ask anything.
