Hey everyone 👋
I built Flux Avatar Maker because every time I wanted a new profile picture, the options were frustrating: either wrestle a general image tool into giving me something usable, sign up and hand over my email, or end up with a watermark slapped across the result. For something as simple as "I just want a cool PFP," that felt like way too much friction.
So the goal was narrow on purpose: pick a style — anime, cyberpunk, realistic, fantasy — type a prompt or drop in a selfie, and get a profile picture you can actually use in seconds. No login, no watermark, free.
The part that evolved most was the free-vs-paid line. Early on I overcomplicated it; what kept proving true was that people just want to try the thing with zero barriers. So the whole free tier stayed genuinely free — generate and download, no catch — and the one-time $3 (not a subscription) just unlocks HD and some extra styles for people who want them.
