Fluxion

Top comment

Hey Product Hunt, I built Fluxion because I like coding agents, but I don’t like how fragmented the setup gets once you want control over the model layer.

Tools like Codex, Claude Code, Cursor, and Windsurf already do serious repo work. The problem for me was everything around that: local models, hosted models, model switching, web research, extraction, terminals, browser preview, and not being locked into one provider’s subscription or workflow.

Fluxion is my attempt to put that into one local macOS app: repo work, local models, hosted models, web research, browser preview, terminals, plan mode, and multi-file edits in the same workspace.

It’s open source, bring-your-own-model, and built for developers who want to use whichever model makes sense for the task use an API, subscription, or local.

Would love feedback from anyone using Codex, Cursor, Claude Code, Windsurf, LM Studio, Ollama, or custom agent workflows. I’m especially curious what people think about the model-switching flow and what tools should exist inside a local agent workspace.
