Hey Product Hunt!
I built Flux because the existing tools for working with APIs were
becoming too heavy, slow, or expensive for what a developer actually
needs day to day.
Theproblem: most API clients don't support gRPC, run on Electron,
or lock essential features behind a paywall. Flux uses GitHub login,
is fully open source, and every feature is free.
My approach evolved a lot I started with just REST, then added gRPC
with .proto import and server reflection, WebSocket, a Compare screen
for testing across multiple environments side by side, and an AI test
generator that uses your own Claude API key (no proxy, no data sent
to us).
Built with Tauri + React. Under 30 MB RAM.
