Hey Product Hunt 👋 I travel a lot (~85 countries over 35 years). Like everyone, I've had flights cancelled, delayed, rebooked badly, sat on tarmacs for hours. A few months ago I started wondering: how many times had I been legally owed compensation under EU261 or UK261 or APPR and never checked? The honest answer is probably a lot. And almost certainly I'd let some of it expire past the claim window. AirHelp exists for this. But two things bothered me: They charge 35% on a no-win-no-fee basis. On a €600 claim that's €210. I think that's high for what is, often, sending a properly-formatted letter and a follow-up. They also gate the eligibility check behind an email signup. Most people just want to check if they have a claim before committing to anything. So I built FlightComp: → Free eligibility check, no email gate. 6 questions, instant verdict. EU261, UK261, Canada APPR, and Turkey SHY all covered. Mobile-first because your flight just got cancelled and you're sitting at the gate. Supports 5 languages (EN, TR, FR, DE, ES) — fewer than AirHelp's 30, but the ones I built support real markets where I've seen the demand. → If you're eligible, two paths: 1. We handle the claim end-to-end. 25%, no win no fee. That's about a third less than AirHelp. 2. Or you handle it yourself with our DIY Kit — letter, submission instructions, follow-up templates. Built solo with Claude Code, Next.js on Vercel, Supabase, and the Claude API for the personalized claim letter generation. These tools made it possible to go from idea to working product incredibly fast. Genuinely curious, has anyone here had a flight disrupted recently and wondered if you were owed something? That's exactly the audience I built this for. — Ethan
