FlatRateKit
Free HVAC flat-rate pricing calculators for small shops
FlatRateKit helps small residential HVAC contractors build flat-rate service prices from their own labor, parts, overhead, markup, and margin assumptions. It includes free labor-rate, profit-margin, and service-pricing calculators plus downloadable price-book templates. It is intentionally not a CRM, dispatch system, or national price database.
FlatRateKit started with a simple problem: small HVAC shops often know they need flat-rate pricing, but the spreadsheet work gets complicated fast. I wanted to make the first pass easier—use your own labor, parts, overhead, markup, and margin assumptions, then turn the result into a practical price-book starting point. It’s intentionally not a CRM or a national price database. I’d especially value feedback from contractors who have moved from time-and-material pricing.
