FlareCamera - Film simulations
Phone camera, how it should have been
Phone cameras are chasing benchmarks giving us all dull, overly lit, unnatural clinical images. FlareCam is trying to break away from that. It helps people create interesting images in unique colour styles - with freedom to create their own, instead of clinical dull over-HDR-ey images. Choose your style, tweak it to your taste, shoot away.
I love shooting photos, on old digicams, modern mirrorless cameras, vintage film cameras, phones and everything in between. Using my old digicams and film cameras, I realised that those photos were fun and there is just too much work that follows clicking a photo on my phone. Sure I don't mind the effort in lightroom but on most days, I would make similar changes to my images, choose similar vibe and arrive at a signature style. I could tailor output to my preference with my mirrorless camera, so thought why not with my phone. I am not a coder but claude and gemini allowed me to build this with ease. On FlareCam, you get 1- Unique colour styles inspired by popular film stocks
2- Customisation options so that you can create your unique styles - controls for base style, highlights tone, shadow & hl tint, grain and more.
3- Option to save your unique styles as a custom recipes and share your recipes with your friends
