FitSend
Make images and videos fit before you send
FitSend is a free Windows app that prepares images and videos for a sending limit. Drop a mixed batch, choose a per-file or total-size ceiling, and pick a quality mode. Files are processed locally, originals stay untouched, and accepted outputs are measured before being marked ready. No account or separate FFmpeg setup needed.

Hi everyone — I’m building FitSend for the moment a file is ready, but too large to send. Instead of asking you to tune export settings, it starts with a limit: how large can each file be, or how large can the whole batch be? It then processes images and videos locally and checks the accepted output sizes. The Windows release includes mixed batches, three quality approaches, saved custom plans, and bundled FFmpeg. Your original files are not overwritten. Files that cannot meet a target are flagged rather than quietly counted as ready. A few boundaries: this is Windows-only, it does not send files for you, and a size check is not a guarantee that every service will accept an upload. The current installer is unsigned; the download page explains that caveat. Version 0.3.0 is free, with no paid edition or preorder. Independent clean-system Windows testing is still pending. I’d love to hear about the last time a file-size limit interrupted your work. Which destination was it, how many files were involved, and what did you do instead?
