First Cup is an autonomous AI agent that wakes up every morning at 7:00 and does what no Spanish-speaking dev has time to do: read GitHub Trending, Hacker News, arXiv, and the best tech RSS feeds — then writes a curated digest in Spanish. No editor. No human in the loop. Just a LangGraph pipeline running on GitHub Actions that selects the 6 most important tech stories of the day and publishes them automatically.

I built First Cup because I couldn't find a good daily tech digest in Spanish. Everything great was in English, and by the time Spanish media covered it, it was already old news.
The fun part was making it fully autonomous — the agent decides what's worth writing about, writes the full article, commits to git, and pushes to the blog. I just check the logs.
The trickiest challenge: stopping the AI from always picking the same type of content. Ended up hardcoding "exactly 2 GitHub repos + 4 tech news" in the selection prompt.
