Its dual-mode scheduling offers flexible time boxes (day/week/month) for loose tasks and precise scheduling for fixed ones, making plans resilient to changes. With 10 widgets and Shortcuts, you can view, check, or create tasks without opening the app.

I'm the maker of Firefly Todo, an app I built to solve my own scheduling struggles. Here are 4 design ideas behind it:
1️⃣ To-do and calendar should never have been separated. 📥📅
When a thought like "pay the bill" pops up, you shouldn't have to decide where to put it or when to do it. Just drop it into a basket first. Later, drag it into a calendar slot like moving a block. Recording and scheduling — two steps, half the mental load.
2️⃣ Most things don't need a precise time. ⏳
Few tasks are truly "must-do at 3pm." Most are just "get it done tomorrow" or "sometime this week." Forcing them into exact slots only creates anxiety. So I made two modes: flexible time boxes for loose tasks, and fixed scheduling for the non-negotiables. Loosen where it should be loose, tighten where it matters.
3️⃣ Seamless sync across devices. ☁️
Jot something down on your phone, and it's already there when you open your Mac. That "never lose your flow" feeling is what iCloud should be about. Capture on the go, organize at your desk — no double work.
4️⃣ I wanted it to feel gentle. 🤍
A little companion that greets you, reminds you of today's plan, and helps you review your rhythm. At night, the dark mode glows with tiny green fireflies — soft, calming, almost romantic.
What makes us different? We believe a to-do app should serve your life, not demand discipline. It should be soft, but reliable.
