Hi Product Hunt! I'm Mritunjay, and I built Finger Chart. Every fall, beginning band students go home with a paper fingering chart and no idea what the note is supposed to sound like. The free charts online were mostly static PDFs or images, scattered across different sites for each instrument. So I made one place with interactive charts for 13 band instruments. Tap a note on the staff, the note list or the keyboard, see the fingering, and hear it played at concert pitch. Every chart also prints as a PDF for the music stand. Each diagram is drawn from scratch and checked against standard published fingerings. Coming next: piccolo, bass trombone, sousaphone, recorder songs and tuners. If you play or teach a band instrument, I'd love to know which fingerings or features you'd want added.
