FindAIforWork
Find AI tools built for better work.
FindAIforWork.com is a curated web directory that catalogs AI software for productive work, sorting 50 reviewed tools into named categories such as Writing & Content, Design & Image, Video & Animation, Audio & Voice, Developer Tools, and Productivity & Meetings.
Every time I needed an AI tool for a specific job — transcribe a call, clean a dataset, generate product shots — I ended up in a "Top 200 AI Tools" listicle that was half dead links and half affiliate spam. Plenty of names, no way to tell which one actually fits the work.
So this is a small, hand-reviewed directory organized by the job you're trying to get done: research, writing, design, video, dev, support, automation. About 100 tools today, each with a real listing — what it does, who it's for, pricing, and a link to the official site.
What works differently:
- Human review. Every listing is checked before it goes live. No mass-imported links.
- Pricing you can trust. If a price can't be confirmed on the vendor's own pricing page, the listing says so instead of guessing.
- One-time pricing, not another subscription. Free with a link back, Basic $9.90, Pro $29.90. Pro includes 30 days featured on the homepage.
- Agent-readable. There's an MCP endpoint at findaiforwork.com/mcp, so Claude, Cursor or any MCP client can search and compare tools directly. Every listing also has a Markdown version at /tools/{slug}.md.
Where it's at: I'm building this solo. The catalog is around 100 tools and grows slowly on purpose — I'd rather have 100 listings I trust than 10,000 I don't.
Two asks:
1. If you use AI tools daily — what's the thing you can never find when you need it? I'll go add it.
2. If you build one — submissions are open, free tier included.
Thanks for taking a look.
