Films Around the World

Films Around the World is a free cinema passport: a 196-country challenge to watch the best native films from everywhere on Earth, and a 30-second quiz that asks whether a film is from a country or only about it. Hey hunters — I’m Dragos. I built Films Around the World because I was tired of “world cinema” meaning the same 12 titles. The product is a passport: ranked native films for 196 countries, plus the outsider movies merely set there. Watch one native film, stamp the country. Three is a visa. The full list is citizenship. That is the challenge. Can you actually see the best of each country’s own cinema, not just the films Hollywood shot on its soil? There is also a quiz. Ten posters, four flags, 30 seconds each. Sometimes the question is “where is this film from?” Sometimes it is “what country is this film about?” Casablanca is the trap. No accounts, no ads, no feed. Your stamps live on your device. Open the map, pick a country you have never watched, or go straight to /quiz and tell me how you did — especially if Casablanca fooled you. I would love honest feedback from this community: is the challenge clear in the first minute, and is the quiz mean in the right way?
