Filesty
Free file tools that work entirely in your browser
Filesty is a collection of free file conversion and utility tools. Everything runs client-side in your browser. Your files never leave your device - nothing is uploaded to any server. No account required. No watermarks. No limits.
Hey Product Hunt! 👋
I built Filesty because I was frustrated with file tools that upload your files to unknown servers "just to convert a JPG."
The idea is simple: everything runs in your browser using native browser APIs (Canvas, WebAssembly, File API). Your files never leave your device - not even for a millisecond.
Current tools:
- JPG ↔ PNG conversion
- Image compression
- PDF merge
- JSON formatter & validator
- Base64 encoder/decoder
What's next: I'm working on 130+ tools total, all client-side. Format conversion matrix (PNG→WebP, HEIC→JPG etc.), PDF split, CSV tools and more.
Would love your feedback - especially which tools you'd find most useful. What's the one file tool you use most often that you wish was privacy-first?
